ContrastKit is a free tool provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Ratios are computed with the WCAG 2.x contrast formula from the colors you give. A passing contrast ratio is one part of accessibility, not a full audit or a legal compliance certificate; font size, weight, rendering and context also matter.

Fair use: use is rate-limited to about 60 requests per minute per IP. There is no paid tier on this site. Don't attempt to bypass limits or overload the service. Access may be limited or withdrawn at any time.

Works with AI agents and assistants that can call an MCP server or a JSON API, for example Muse, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor (descriptive only). ContrastKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the W3C, WebAIM, Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI or Anysphere. WCAG is a W3C standard; a passing ratio is one part of accessibility, not a full audit.
